Open Minded

I know it has been awhile since I last updated my blog. I am already getting busy with school, which scares me since I still have 97 more days left of school. I know it’s sad that I am already counting, but that is what helps me to get through it!

This semester I am taking a class about the Teacher as the Performer. If you know me this is not my area of expertise or comfort for that matter. In this class we have to do a lot of "Theater Games." For example, last night I had to pretend to either sell a product or demonstrate a task while speaking only in Gibberish. I decided that I would try and demonstrate how to wash a car. I thought that it couldn't be that hard, but was sadly mistaken. Anyway, in this class we get graded on our participation and so I am trying to remember that when he asks for volunteers. I think I should just get points for volunteering, not how well I do since that in its self is more that I feel comfortable doing. I just have to keep an open mind about this class. I don't think I will struggle with doing some of the games with the children in my class, but I struggle with doing it in front of grown adults. Like I said only 97 more days!

Alright, now off I go to work out and prepare dinner for tonight. I am trying a new recipe so keep your fingers crossed for me! :-)
